WSRA will ensure that all participants involved in all aspects of the game of squash, will be given equal opportunity irrespective of age, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, disability or religious persuasion.

WSRA will

Promote and encourage equal opportunities and ensure that the policy is clearly understood and properly enforced by all those involved in the county association activities

Have an obligation to act upon any information received about breaches of the equal opportunity policy and if required, carry out an investigation and disciplinary action as appropriate

Ensure that competition opportunities, rewards, incentives, recognition, promotion and developmental schemes are provided fairly.

WSRA reserves the right to limit certain competitions to persons of specific age, gender or disability groups to provide opportunity for equal competition.

The Chair Person the WSRA will work in co-operation with all appropriate national and local organisations and agencies to demonstrate a firm commitment to preventing unequal opportunities in every aspect and at all levels of the sport delivered at county level.

Concerns and complaints pertaining to this Equal Opportunities Policy should initially be referred to the WSRA Secretary or Chairman in writing. Where appropriate the County will seek advice from the National Governing Body of whom the County is affiliated to.
