Murray Takes Carlisle Win

Sutton’s Andy Murray has made a fantastic start to his season by winning the O50’s event at the North of England Masters event in Carlisle. Murray, who captained the England O50 team last year, was top seed but expected to face serious competition from long term rival Andy Cross.

2019 Junior County Closed

This years Warwickshire Junior Championships are taking place at Coventry and North Warwickshire Sports Club over the weekend of the 28th and 29th September.

League Winners Crowned

The Warwickshire Squash AGM was held on Tuesday at Solihull Arden Club with the presentation for the Winter League 18/19 and the Summer League 2019. Congratulations to all of the division winners and we are looking forward to some more fantastic Squash and Racketball over the coming season.

Women’s Squash Week At Leamington Squash Club

Leamington are once again offering women a superb opportunity with their Frantic Team Squash event on Sunday 22nd September. Running from 1pm-5pm, all players will receive a free T-shirt and buffet.

Squash and Racketball Liaison Officer

Warwickshire Squash and Racketball are seeking applications for a liaison officer. The role is a part-time self employed position and is responsible for the liaison duties between clubs, coaches and the county junior section.

Average 20 hours a month

£5000 per annum plus reasonable expenses

Rackethon at Edgbaston Priory Club – 10th August

On Saturday 10th August Edgbaston  Priory are hosting a Rackethon to help raise money to send their teams to the European Club Championships. The event will consist Badminton, Table Tennis, Squash, Tennis and Racketball.

Saffery Retains National Racketball Title

In what was the biggest National Racketball Championships to date, Deon Saffery retained her women’s title at Edgbaston Priory Club. The top seed cruised to victory with straight games wins over Kelly Easthope, Roxy Keshavarz and Amber Marshall to claim her third title overall.
