Aspire Explained

Aspire is an England Squash initiative which aims to give the regions most promising juniors an environment to develop their skills and take the next step down the talent pathway. Aspire coaches are given the task of getting the next generation of players through to National standard. As such, the squads fit just behind England potential and England development squads on the talent pathway. With 5 squads throughout the season, culminating in the season ending Regional Team Championships, the training will give the juniors an insight into the professionalism and discipline needed to compete at national and international level.

The West Midlands team is headed by Chris Tasker, ably assisted by Jon Tate, both of whom have a lot of experience of getting players down the talent pathway. Both are very passionate about helping the West Midlands become one of the strongest regions in the country, and with the help of the wealth of high quality coaches in the region, it promises to be an exciting couple of years ahead.
