Makin secures Kent Open title

Joel Makin has won the $10,000 Kent Open 2017 PSA event, betaing local favourite Josh Masters in the final. Makin, the World number 47 defeated Masters, ranked 58, in straight games 11-5, 11-4, 11-8 in 37 minutes.



Woolford falls just short in British Open final

Solihull Arden’s Rachel Woolford came tantalisingly close to claiming the Women’s O50 British Open title this weekend at Colets club in Thames Ditton. The event attracted over 300 masters players competing in age groups from O35 to O80.

Warwickshire players lead England and Ireland to Masters glory

Warwickshire were well represented in the recent Masters Home Internationals with 4 players making the England teams and 2 players representing Ireland.

Natalie Townsend (Kenilworth) followed up on last years debut by helping the England Women’s O35 team retain their crown in Nottingham.
